Book Group
Sunday, June 22 - 1:30 PM
Hakafa's Book Group meets bimonthly in alternate months. Join us for our next gathering when we will be discussing The Sabbath World: Glimpses of a Different Order of Time by Judith Shulevitz.
Contact Dottie Hammel for location information and with any questions.
Summer Shabbaton
July 17-20
Do you like to canoe and camp (even though there’s a motel nearby for those who just want to canoe)? If so, Hakafa’s Summer Canoe Trip / Shabbaton is for you! Join us for gourmet, home-cooked dining and a community experience on the Wisconsin River. We canoe and swim during the day, and at night we unwind together, celebrating Shabbat. Contact David Dosik with questions and reserve your spot by June 7.
NOTE: All participants must be able to swim. The trip is not recommended for families with young children unaccustomed to being in a canoe.
