Home
Hakafa means "encirclement."
We are a Reform congregation
of people who choose
to have no building,
no board of directors,
and no fund-raising.
Our CIRCLE has been growing
for more than 40 years. But as we grow,
our intimate, caring, and
welcoming atmosphere remains.
Congregational Hanukkah Celebration and Early
Shabbat Service
Friday, December 27
5:30 PM
Bring your chanaukiot (Hanukkah menorahs), candles, and matches, and help us celebrate Hanukkah and Shabbat!
A special Hanukkah oneg with delicious Hanukkah treats, hosted by our Kadima Group, will follow.
Contact Rona for Winnetka location details.
Twice-a-Month
Bedtime-Friendly
Shabbat Services
Join us on the second and fourth Fridays of each month for our “bedtime-friendly” Shabbat services which begins at 5:30 p.m.! These are regular services, and they enable families with young children to have a Friday evening Shabbat experience with the rest of our congregational community. A rug with toddler toys will be available. We hope you will be there!
Note: These two monthly services are in place of our regular 7:30 p.m. service.
Rosh Chodesh Gathering
Thursday, January 9
7:30 PM
Join us for a Rosh Chodesh gathering to celebrate the Hebrew month of Tevet. Become grounded in the spiritual energy of the month, gain insight into how the themes of the month are shaping your life, and enjoy the intimacy of a candlelit space where you will be seen and heard with compassion. Primarily for those 18+ who identify as women or nonbinary, people of all gender expressions are welcome to come learn & help elevate these voices. Click here to register.
