Summer Machberet (Notebook)
Hakafa’s Machberet Kayitz / Summer Machberet (notebook) is a NEW way for our Hebrew School students to have access to Hebrew practice opportunities over the summer months so that the work they did over the previous school year is not lost.
Instead of printing packets of practice work for our students to bring home, we are attempting to both be “green” and eliminate the chance that these packets will get lost in the shuffle.
We are so proud to have this available for our students. It is a great way to stay connected with our Hebrew studies, stay in touch with our teachers over the summer, and a wonderful way to use our new Hakafa website. We hope you enjoy your summer and take a little time to visit our Machberet Kayitz!

Kitah Alef - 3rd Grade Class

Is this required?
Using the Machberet Kayitz is optional, but strongly suggested. It is a fun way to practice a little Hebrew over the summer to help you remember what you have learned during the year. You can work on it at your own pace whenever you have the chance before the second week of Hebrew school in the fall. Those students who complete the work, print the pages that require writing, and can demonstrate that they worked over the summer will get a SPECIAL PRIZE in the fall!
